Jordan Carl Wheeler Davis was born March 30, 1988 in Shreveport, Louisiana, the younger of two brothers in a family with deep country-music roots — his uncle is the songwriter Stan Paul Davis, who wrote Tracy Lawrence's "Today's Lonely Fool" and "Better Man, Better Off," and his older brother Jacob Davis is also a working Nashville country artist and songwriter.
