If You Cannot Attend Maroon 5
- Check your order: Ticketmaster will show whether refund, transfer, or resale is enabled.
- Use official transfer: mobile tickets are safest inside the original ticketing account.
- Use Verified Resale when allowed: keeps buyer protection and barcode delivery intact.
- Avoid screenshots: many venues use rotating barcodes that screenshots cannot validate.
- Watch postponement emails: refund windows can be short after a new date is announced.
Cancelled vs Postponed vs Rescheduled
Cancelled means the event is off and refunds are normally issued to the original payment method. Postponed means the promoter is working on a new date, so refunds may not open immediately. Rescheduled means the new date is published; your ticket usually transfers automatically, with refund options depending on the event's posted policy.

About Maroon 5
Maroon 5 traces back to Brentwood School in west Los Angeles in the mid-1990s, where Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden and Ryan Dusick formed a guitar band called Kara's Flowers that signed to Reprise Records as teenagers and released a single album, The Fourth World, in 1997. The record did not sell, Reprise dropped the band, and the four members went to college — Levine and Carmichael to Five Towns College in New York. The New York years are the ones that reshaped the sound: exposure to gospel, R&B and hip-hop on radio and on the streets of Manhattan pushed Levine away from the alternative-rock palette of Kara's Flowers and toward the falsetto-led, groove-driven approach that would define the next twenty years of the band. The group reconvened in Los Angeles in 2001 with James Valentine joining on guitar, Carmichael moving to keyboards, and a new name — Maroon 5 — adopted to mark the reset. Songs About Jane was recorded across 2001 and 2002 for Octone Records (subsequently distributed through J Records and then A&M/Octone under Universal), and released in June 2002. The record built slowly across 2003 and 2004 on the back of 'Harder to Breathe', 'This Love' and 'She Will Be Loved' before going diamond in the United States and winning the band Best New Artist at the 2005 Grammys.
It Won't Be Soon Before Long followed in 2007 with 'Makes Me Wonder' becoming the band's first Hot 100 number one; Hands All Over in 2010 carried 'Moves Like Jagger' as a re-issued single in 2011, the Christina Aguilera collaboration recorded after Levine and Aguilera became fellow coaches on The Voice and a track that has gone on to be one of the most-streamed pop singles of its era. Overexposed in 2012 pushed harder into electronic and EDM-leaning pop with 'Payphone', 'One More Light' (later retitled as a single) and 'One More Night'. V in 2014 produced 'Maps', 'Animals' and 'Sugar', the last of which became one of the band's most-watched videos and a wedding-circuit staple. Red Pill Blues in 2017 closed out the original full-band era; longtime drummer Ryan Dusick had departed years earlier with an arm injury, and additional members PJ Morton, Sam Farrar and Matt Flynn rounded out the live lineup. 'Girls Like You' with Cardi B that same cycle became the band's longest-running Hot 100 number one. Jordi arrived in June 2021, named for and dedicated to longtime manager Jordan Feldstein who had died in 2017; the lead single 'Memories' had been released two years earlier and grew into the kind of generational ballad that ran past three billion Spotify streams. Love Is Like in 2024 is the band's most recent studio record. Adam Levine spent sixteen seasons as a coach on NBC's The Voice from 2011 through 2019, returning for cameo and guest spots since; his public profile as the band's frontman remains the largest single demographic engine on tour. The Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live inside Park MGM launched in 2025 and joins the stadium-and-arena touring cycle as the band's anchor live offerings. James Valentine on guitar, Jesse Carmichael on keys and PJ Morton on additional keyboards remain the working musical heart of the band alongside Levine.
