How Gunna Tour Openers Get Announced

Most Gunna tour openers aren't named when tickets go on sale. The supporting act is locked in per-region (sometimes per-show) and appears on the event listing in the weeks before each stop. Open any date above to see whether the opener is confirmed yet — listings here refresh daily, so the support act shows up as soon as the seller names it.

For headliners at Gunna's scale, expect a single opener doing a 30 to 45 minute set, sometimes with a regional rotation (a Canadian opener for CA dates, a US opener for the American leg). The opener slot doesn't require a separate ticket — your Gunna ticket covers the full show.

How to Find the Confirmed Gunna Opener for Your City

1. Pick your city from the tour-date list above.
2. Open that date — the event page lists the confirmed opener once the seller has named one, next to the available tickets.
3. Compare seats there — one ticket covers the opener and Gunna, so choose by section and price, not by lineup.
4. Watch for updates — openers are sometimes added 2 to 4 weeks out, so check back if it's still TBA.

Do I Need a Separate Ticket for the Opener?

No. The Gunna ticket you buy from Ticketmaster covers the entire show — opener + headliner — at the same venue, same night. Doors usually open 60 to 90 minutes before the advertised start time; the opener typically performs first, with a 20 to 30 minute changeover before Gunna takes the stage.

Gunna Opening Act — FAQ

About Gunna

Sergio Giavanni Kitchens was born June 14, 1993 in College Park, Georgia, a city directly south of Atlanta near Hartsfield-Jackson airport, and raised across the South Fulton metropolitan area. He grew up the youngest of five siblings and lost his father at a young age, an absence the catalogue has referenced repeatedly across album cycles. He attended McNair High School in DeKalb County and started recording while still in his teens, picking up the name Gunna from a relative as a childhood nickname. The breakthrough was the connection with Young Thug in the mid-2010s — Gunna's first major-feature spot landed on Young Thug's Floyd Mayweather alongside Travis Scott and Gucci Mane in 2016 — and the subsequent signing to Young Stoner Life Records, the YSL imprint Young Thug runs through 300 Entertainment. Drip Season 3 in early 2018 was the first mixtape that the broader rap audience tracked closely, with Sold Out Dates featuring Lil Baby anchoring the early Gunna-Lil Baby pairing that became foundational to the era. Drip Harder, the collaborative project with Lil Baby released in October 2018, produced Drip Too Hard, the duo's first top-five Billboard Hot 100 entry and the song that pushed both artists into mainstream pop-radio rotation. Drip or Drown 2 in February 2019 was Gunna's first commercial mixtape and debuted at number three on the Billboard 200. Wunna arrived in May 2020 as the debut studio album, opening at number one on the Billboard 200 in its first week and putting Gunna at the front of the YSL roster commercially. DS4Ever followed in January 2022 — also opening at number one — and produced pushin P, the Future and Young Thug collaboration whose hook and the accompanying P emoji turned into a culture-wide phrase across rap, sports, and brand marketing that spring. The Young Stoner Life Records collective compilation Slime Language 2 in 2021 had previously consolidated the YSL roster sound. The May 2022 Fulton County indictment named YSL Records as a criminal street gang under Georgia's RICO statute, with Young Thug, Gunna, and dozens of co-defendants charged across a sprawling case. Gunna entered an Alford plea in December 2022 — a guilty plea while maintaining innocence — and was released from Fulton County Jail that same month, with the legal storyline and the broader reaction within the rap community sitting at the center of public conversation across the months that followed. a Gift & a Curse arrived in June 2023 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, with bread & butter and fukumean anchoring the album cycle. One of Wun in May 2024 was the next studio entry, leaning further into the Wunna persona and the melodic Atlanta trap aesthetic. Gunna runs his own creative operations under the Gunna brand alongside the YSL imprint through 300 Entertainment, with Atlanta sitting as the geographic and creative center of everything the catalogue does. Atlanta trap mainstream and the broader Southern hip-hop influence are central to the brand.
