The Weeknd meet and greet — what is actually on offer
The Weeknd has historically not offered a public meet and greet on any of the major tour cycles, and that pattern has held through the After Hours Til Dawn run, the Hurry Up Tomorrow cycle, and most of the prior Beauty Behind the Madness and Starboy legs. There is no standard photo-with-Abel package available through Ticketmaster, the XO fan club store, or the tour VIP vendor for the headline tour dates. This is a deliberate posture rather than an oversight — the project's anonymous-origin framing, the masked-character staging that runs through After Hours and Dawn FM, and the closing-chapter narrative around Hurry Up Tomorrow all sit at odds with the conventional artist-handshake VIP format that touring acts like Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, or Bruno Mars run on their cycles. What is actually offered under VIP package names — the XO Experience, the After Hours VIP, the Hurry Up Tomorrow VIP, and similar tier names that have appeared on various legs — is a premium seating and merchandise bundle rather than an in-person meet. The packages typically include premium reserved seating in the lower bowl or floor, exclusive VIP-only merchandise (a signed lithograph, a tour-exclusive vinyl, a laminate, a tote, sometimes a hooded sweatshirt), early venue entry ahead of general admission doors, dedicated VIP entry lanes, and on some legs access to a pre-show VIP lounge with bar service and dedicated washrooms. No photo with Abel. No signed merchandise from his hand. No backstage access. Pricing on the VIP tiers usually runs $400 to $1,200 above the base seat depending on the inclusions and the market. Two exceptions have been documented across the catalogue's history. The XO fan club has occasionally run sweepstakes for private meet sessions on milestone dates — the Super Bowl LV halftime weekend in Tampa, the Hurry Up Tomorrow album-launch night, the Toronto homecoming dates — though these are invitation-only and not available for purchase. Industry-side meets occasionally happen for Universal Music Group and Republic Records artist partners. If you see a third-party reseller advertising a Weeknd meet and greet on the open market, treat it as a fraud signal — those packages are not legitimately for sale.

About The Weeknd
The Weeknd is a Canadian artist from Toronto who has become one of the defining voices in modern pop and R&B. His sound blends atmospheric production, moody synths, and pop hooks with R&B vocal delivery, and his work often leans into cinematic, noir-inspired aesthetics. He first gained attention through a trilogy of mixtapes that established his signature moody style before transitioning into mainstream pop stardom with a string of acclaimed albums and chart-topping singles. The Weeknd is known for his distinctive falsetto, his carefully crafted album eras, and his willingness to experiment with visual storytelling across music videos and live productions. His concerts are large-scale, cinematic experiences featuring elaborate stage designs, dramatic lighting, and deep setlists that span his entire career. Fans love him for his consistent sonic identity, his evolving artistic vision, and the way his music balances pop accessibility with darker, more introspective themes. The Weeknd's shows are consistently among the most anticipated pop and R&B live events worldwide.
