Concerts Tonight in Winnipeg

Things to do in Winnipeg today

The fastest way to see what is on in Winnipeg today is to scroll the event list above, which sorts by start time. Same-day tickets are usually available for theater at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, Prairie Theatre Exchange, and the Burton Cummings, and comedy clubs like Rumor's almost always have walk-up availability outside of headliner weekends.

For Jets home games at Canada Life Centre, last-minute resale through verified sellers is the most reliable route — the building rarely has walk-up availability when the team is playing well. Winnipeg runs later than its reputation suggests.

Comedy at Rumor's typically runs a late show on Friday and Saturday, indie rooms in the Exchange District book sets that start at 10 pm or later, and the Osborne Village strip is busy past midnight on weekend nights. Winnipeg Transit runs until about 1 am on the main routes, with reduced overnight service on a handful of lines.

Midweek nights are noticeably quieter. Tuesday and Wednesday are when you can walk up to a small show at the Park Theatre, grab a discounted preview at MTC, or catch an open mic at the West End Cultural Centre for under fifteen dollars.

Thursday is the dividing line — by then the patios are full, the venues are filling up, and the weekend energy has started.
