Gracie Abrams Opening Act 2027 — Who is the Support?

Gracie Abrams opening acts — who's been on the Secret of Us Tour bill

Gracie Abrams's opening-slot choices on the Secret of Us Tour and the broader breakthrough cycle have been deliberate — the support choices read as a curated extension of the project's indie-pop, folk-pop, and singer-songwriter aesthetic, with most of the openers booked from the Aaron Dessner / Big Red Machine / Phoebe Bridgers extended ecosystem or from the broader indie-pop community that overlaps the catalogue's listenership. The cycle has carried openers including Towa Bird (LA-based queer guitar-pop), Maisie Peters (UK indie-pop, Capitol Records, herself a Phoebe Bridgers-adjacent songwriting voice), Yoke Lore (Brooklyn indie-folk), Searows (the Alec Duckart-led indie-folk project signed to Atlantic), and a rotation of regional emerging artists drawn from the same demographic the project pulls from. The pattern is one opener per night for a 30-to-45-minute support set, sometimes with a rotational swap by region (a UK opener for the UK leg, a Canadian opener for the Canadian dates). The opener is named on the official Ticketmaster show page once it is locked in — usually 4 to 8 weeks before the date, sometimes later for last-minute regional swaps. Gracie herself spent roughly fifty Eras Tour dates as Taylor Swift's opening act across the Eras Tour's two-year routing — the opening-act-to-headliner trajectory that Gracie modelled has become the template that other rising artists in the indie-and-folk-pop space are now actively pitching for the next Gracie Abrams tour cycle. For the next Gracie Abrams tour cycle, the opener slot will almost certainly follow the same template: a single emerging act from the same demographic the project pulls from, announced after the headline ticket onsale rather than alongside it, and rotating by region. The economics of the opener slot on an arena tour at this scale (in front of 15,000 to 20,000 ticketed fans every night for 4 to 8 months) make it one of the most coveted support gigs in pop touring. Click any date on the live event strip above for the confirmed opener on that specific night; if the show page lists the headline name only, the opener has not yet been announced and the page will update once Ticketmaster posts it.

How Gracie Abrams Tour Openers Get Announced

Most Gracie Abrams tour openers aren't named when tickets go on sale. The supporting act is locked in per-region (sometimes per-show) and appears on the event listing in the weeks before each stop. Open any date above to see whether the opener is confirmed yet — listings here refresh daily, so the support act shows up as soon as the seller names it.

For headliners at Gracie Abrams' scale, expect a single opener doing a 30 to 45 minute set, sometimes with a regional rotation (a Canadian opener for CA dates, a US opener for the American leg). The opener slot doesn't require a separate ticket — your Gracie Abrams ticket covers the full show.

How to Find the Confirmed Gracie Abrams Opener for Your City

1. Pick your city from the tour-date list above.
2. Open that date — the event page lists the confirmed opener once the seller has named one, next to the available tickets.
3. Compare seats there — one ticket covers the opener and Gracie Abrams, so choose by section and price, not by lineup.
4. Watch for updates — openers are sometimes added 2 to 4 weeks out, so check back if it's still TBA.

Do I Need a Separate Ticket for the Opener?

No. The Gracie Abrams ticket you buy from Ticketmaster covers the entire show — opener + headliner — at the same venue, same night. Doors usually open 60 to 90 minutes before the advertised start time; the opener typically performs first, with a 20 to 30 minute changeover before Gracie Abrams takes the stage.

Gracie Abrams Opening Act — FAQ

About Gracie Abrams

Gracie Madigan Abrams was born September 7, 1999, in Los Angeles, California — the daughter of director and producer J.J. Abrams (Lost, Star Trek, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Mission: Impossible) and producer Katie McGrath (the co-CEO with J.J. of Bad Robot Productions). She is one of three siblings and grew up in Brentwood and the broader Westside LA, attended Brentwood School, and went on to Barnard College in New York where she studied International Relations until taking leave to focus on the music project full-time. The early writing was solo bedroom work — songs uploaded to Instagram across the late 2010s under her own name, with no industry push and no public framing as the daughter of the Abrams-McGrath household — and the breakthrough into the broader industry conversation was the Sonny With A Chance writer-producer Joel Little (Lorde, Khalid, Imagine Dragons) signing on to produce her first EP. Minor (the debut EP released July 2020 on Interscope) was the formal label-cycle introduction, with 'I miss you, I'm sorry' as the lead single and a confession-pop, vocal-forward sound built around a small palette of acoustic guitar, piano, and minimal production. The follow-up EP This Is What It Feels Like (released November 2021) deepened the catalogue with 'Feels Like' and 'Difficult' as the standout tracks; the debut album Good Riddance (released February 2023 and produced primarily with Aaron Dessner) was the project's first full-length and the first formal Dessner production credit, with 'Where Do We Go Now?', 'I Should Hate You', 'Difficult' (re-recorded), and 'Best' anchoring the record. The pivot to mainstream pop visibility was the Eras Tour booking: Taylor Swift selecting Gracie Abrams as one of the rotating opening acts on the Eras Tour, with Gracie performing across roughly fifty Eras Tour dates from the early North American leg through the European and Asian routing — the highest-profile pop touring exposure of the post-pandemic period, in front of 60,000-to-80,000 ticketed fans per night. The Secret of Us album, released June 2024 and produced primarily by Aaron Dessner with Gracie's brother Tobias Abrams and frequent collaborator Audrey Hobert co-writing across the track list, was the breakthrough record — 'Risk' as the lead single, 'That's So True' as the post-release crossover that became the project's biggest streaming song, 'I Love You, I'm Sorry' as the diaristic centrepiece, 'Close to You' as the long-tail catalogue burner from the Good Riddance era re-issued onto the deluxe edition, and the Taylor Swift collaboration 'us.' as the headline-level feature that pulled the broader pop audience into the catalogue. The Secret of Us Tour ran from the album release through an extended arena routing across North America, the UK, and Europe. She is signed to Interscope Records, manages through Range Media Partners, and writes her own material with Aaron Dessner as the consistent co-writer-and-producer across the most recent two records and Audrey Hobert as the consistent co-writer across the catalogue.
